During 2023-2024, the Productivity Commission conducted a comprehensive inquiry examining the nation’s early childhood education and care (ECEC) system. To inform its recommendations, the Commission called for submissions from people and organisations with an interest in ECEC. Contributing to this important policy discussion, members of our project team submitted expert input on behalf of the Social Policy Research Centre at UNSW.
